By booking, you accept these Terms for yourself and everyone on your booking.\r No sales to certain U.S. states. We do not accept bookings from residents of California, Florida, Washington, or Hawaii. You represent that each traveler’s primary residence is not in CA/FL/WA/HI. We may cancel and refund (less unrecoverable third-party costs) any booking that we reasonably determine violates this restriction.\r Note: These U.S. Terms are separate from your Swedish SRF-based terms, which continue to apply to Swedish customers.\r \r\r \r 2) Roles and definitions\r Package: a prearranged combination of at least two travel services sold at a total price.\r Supplier: an airline, hotel, ground operator, cruise line, or excursion provider.\r Merchant of Record (MOR): the party that charges your card for a specific component (e.g., an air ticket).\r \r\r \r 3) Pricing & advertising (U.S. DOT compliance)\r \r Total price: Any advertised or displayed price for air travel (or a package including air) is the total price you pay, with mandatory taxes/fees included. Optional services are not pre-selected at checkout.\r Post-purchase price increases: After you pay a deposit or the full amount, we will not increase the price, except for increases in government-imposed taxes/fees, and only if you gave written consent before purchase (we will present an e-signature consent if ever applicable).\r Currency: Quotes are in USD unless stated otherwise; your bank may apply FX or international fees.\r \r \r\r\r 4) Booking, deposits, and final payment\r \r Deposit: The deposit amount is trip-specific and will be displayed during the booking process and on your confirmation; unless stated otherwise, deposits are non-refundable because we immediately commit funds to third-party suppliers on your behalf.\r Final payment: Due on the trip-specific timeline shown at checkout and on your confirmation.\r Traveler information: You must promptly review confirmations and ensure names exactly match passports; airlines/suppliers may charge for corrections.\r Card charges: Your card will be debited at the time of booking for deposits and at the time of final payment for any remaining balance, unless otherwise displayed during checkout.\r \r\r\r \r 5) Your changes and substitutions\r \r Name or itinerary changes after ticketing are often treated as cancellations/rebookings by airlines and may require paying fare differences and fees.\r Transfers: You may transfer your booking to another traveler who meets all conditions; we may charge reasonable transfer fees limited to our actual costs.\r \r \r\r \r 6) Your cancellation\r \r Trip-specific policy: Unless otherwise stated at checkout/confirmation, the cancellation schedule for your itinerary forms part of your contract and governs any refunds/fees.\r Airline taxes/fees: Refundability of ticketed components follows the airline’s fare rules and U.S. law; where DOT requires a refund, we will comply (see §8).\r \r \r\r \r 7) Our changes or cancellations\r \r General: We may modify itineraries when reasonably required (e.g., schedule changes, safety, supplier issues) and will notify you promptly.\r No minimum participants: For U.S. customers we do not cancel departures due to low enrollment.\r Force majeure: We are not liable for nonperformance caused by events beyond our reasonable control (e.g., war, strikes, severe weather, natural disasters, public-health events). If services cannot be provided, we will seek refunds/credits from suppliers and pass through any amounts we recover.\r \r \r\r \r 8) Airlines, significant changes, and refunds (DOT rules)\r \r Operating carrier disclosure: Where a flight is “operated by” another carrier, we will disclose the operating carrier on the first display and again at purchase.\r Cancellations or significant changes: If an airline cancels your flight or makes a significant change and you reject the alternatives, a prompt refund is required. If we were MOR for your air ticket, we will issue the refund within 7 business days for card payments or 20 calendar days for other payments, consistent with DOT rules. If the airline was MOR, we will assist you in obtaining the refund under DOT requirements.\r \r \r\r \r 9) Traveler responsibilities (passports, visas, health)\r You are responsible for passports, visas, vaccinations, COVID/health measures, timely check-in, and compliance with entry rules. We are not liable for denial of boarding/entry due to your documentation.\r \r\r \r 10) Insurance\r We strongly recommend travel insurance (trip cancellation/interruption, medical, baggage, evacuation). If we sell insurance to U.S. residents, we do so under a properly licensed arrangement; otherwise we may refer you to licensed providers. (We are not the insurer; claims are handled by the insurer per policy terms.)\r \r\r \r 11) Supplier terms and optional excursions\r Many services are provided by independent Suppliers subject to their own terms, conditions, and liability limits (including airline treaties). Optional, locally purchased excursions are not part of your package unless expressly stated.\r \r\r \r 12) Sanctions & embargoes (OFAC)\r Bookings by or for sanctioned persons, or involving destinations/services prohibited to U.S. persons (e.g., tourist travel to Cuba) will be canceled. You are responsible for ensuring your travel is authorized under U.S. law (e.g., an OFAC general or specific license).\r \r\r \r 13) Accessibility & special assistance\r We welcome customers with disabilities; please tell us your needs before booking so we can confirm feasibility with Suppliers. Accessibility standards vary by country; some sites/vehicles may be inaccessible. We may require a companion if necessary for safety.\r \r\r \r 14) Conduct; damage; chargebacks\r You must follow lawful instructions from our staff/Suppliers and local laws; you are responsible for damage you cause. Please contact us before initiating a card chargeback so we can resolve any issue quickly; this request does not limit your chargeback rights under card-network rules or applicable law.\r \r\r \r 15) Indemnity (misuse/violations)\r To the fullest extent permitted by law, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless Rolfs from third-party claims, damages, or costs (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your breach of these Terms (e.g., misrepresenting your state of residence to circumvent §1).\r \r\r \r 16) Our liability (important)\r To the maximum extent permitted by law, Rolfs is not liable for acts/omissions of independent Suppliers or for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or loss of enjoyment. Our total liability for claims other than personal injury and other than claims based on our gross negligence or willful misconduct is limited to the amounts you paid us for the affected booking. Nothing here limits liability where such a limitation is prohibited by applicable law.\r \r\r \r 17) Dispute resolution (arbitration, class-action waiver, mass-arbitration handling)\r \r Informal resolution first. Email legal@rolfstours.com with “Dispute” in the subject; we’ll try to resolve within 30 days.\r Arbitration & rules. Any dispute with a U.S. resident arising out of or relating to these Terms will be resolved by binding arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association (AAA) under its Consumer Arbitration Rules; remote/virtual hearings are permitted. The Federal Arbitration Act (FAA) governs this clause’s enforceability. Either party may bring a qualifying claim in small-claims court.\r Class/representative actions waived. Only individual claims may be brought.\r Mass-arbitration protocol. If 25 or more substantially similar demands are filed against us by the same or coordinated counsel, the AAA Mass Arbitration Supplementary Rules (including any fee schedules and “process arbitrator” procedures) will apply, and the arbitrator(s) may use batched proceedings, bellwethers, or sampling where permitted.\r Opt-out. You may opt out of arbitration within 30 days after your first U.S. booking by emailing arbitrationoptout@rolfstours.com (include legal name and booking number).\r Venue & law. For U.S. residents, New York law governs except that the FAA governs arbitration.\r New Jersey notice. Nothing in these Terms limits any rights of New Jersey consumers that cannot be waived under New Jersey law (including the Truth-in-Consumer Contract, Warranty and Notice Act, TCCWNA).\r \r \r\r\r 18) Notice-of-claim & time to bring claims\r \r Notice-of-claim: You agree to send us written notice of any claim within 60 days after the trip ends (this helps us investigate and is a condition to fee-shifting below; it does not reduce statutory refund rights).\r Time limit: Any claim must be filed within one (1) year of the trip end date where permitted by law; this does not limit claims for personal injury where a longer period is required.\r Complaints: Complaints regarding booked services must be submitted within a reasonable time, and no later than 60 days after the relevant service or trip end, to preserve your rights.\r \r\r\r \r 19) Miscellaneous\r Assignment, severability, entire agreement, electronic signatures/consent, and no-waiver apply. We may update these Terms; the version in effect at booking applies.\r \r\r\r\r 20) Right of withdrawal / return policy\r Travel services are not subject to the standard 14-day right of withdrawal under EU or U.S. consumer law. Accordingly, no general 14-day return policy applies to bookings with Rolfs. Refund rights are instead governed by the cancellation terms in §6 and applicable airline or supplier fare rules.\r\r","singlepage/page_assets/Information/villkor-paketresor_sgmxjc.jpg","2025-10-07 15:53:17
186,"General information","general-information","Essential travel info: booking, payment, insurance, visas, hotels, & special needs. After booking, you’ll receive a confirmation together with an invoice. We don’t send separate payment receipts; instead, we’ll contact travelers if a payment becomes overdue.\rPlease check your confirmation carefully and make sure all booking details are correct.\r\rCancellations & Cancellation Protection\rIf you need to cancel, do so as soon as the reason arises and before the trip starts. Cancellations are handled by our Customer Service or our duty phone at 1-800-671-2510.\rIf you have cancellation insurance (through us or a third party), your refund will follow the policy’s terms and conditions.\r\rBaggage – Delayed or Damaged\rIf your baggage is damaged or does not arrive, report it immediately in the baggage hall at the airport. Ask airport staff for help if needed. Make sure you receive the original damage report (a PIR—Property Irregularity Report). Airlines require this document for any compensation claims. Details on liability, compensation limits, and conditions are provided by the airline and your travel insurer.\r\rFlights\rAirport check-in typically opens 2 hours before departure. Check-in usually closes 60–90 minutes before departure—always follow the times on your travel documents.\rAirlines generally try to seat passengers on the same booking together, but adjacent seats cannot be guaranteed. Where available, consider pre-selecting seats directly with the airline. Online check-in (when offered) is recommended to save time at the airport.\r\rPassports & Visas\rYou are responsible for having all required documents in order—e.g., passport, visas, certificates, and insurance—before you travel. Some countries require that your passport be valid for several months beyond your return date and that it contains blank pages; check the rules well in advance. Our Customer Service is happy to assist with the visa process at no charge.\r\rInsurance\rComprehensive travel insurance is important. Always verify what coverage you already have and what your policy includes (medical care, trip cancellation/interruption, baggage, etc.).\r\rTraveling with a Disability or Reduced Mobility\rWe want every traveler to have a great experience. Please tell us about your specific accessibility needs at the time of booking so we can plan appropriately.\rSome hotels offer accessible rooms, but public areas may still involve steps (e.g., to reception or the pool). If you use a wheelchair, contact us when you book so we can arrange assistance for boarding and disembarking the aircraft. Airlines must approve assistive devices (such as electric wheelchairs or oxygen) in advance; please inform us before booking or no later than 48 hours prior to departure so we can request approval.\r\rSpecial Requests\rIf you have requests—such as sitting near friends on the coach, dietary needs, or accessibility preferences—please let us know when booking so we can inform hotels and other partners in good time. We’ll do our best, but requests are not guaranteed and depend on availability and supplier policies. Travelers with gluten intolerance may wish to bring their own bread as a backup.\r\rTimes During the Trip\rAll times are local. Many are approximate and can be affected by various factors. Arrival times to cities or hotels are estimates and depend on traffic and weather. Ferry schedules, excursions, and meal times may change. Note that opening hours for shops, restaurants, and museums can be affected by national holidays.\r\rHotels\rOur hotels are typically good mid-range or better. Each property is classified by the local authorities, and scales vary by country. A hotel’s classification may change seasonally (summer/winter) or after renovations; we always display the current classification.\rFor en-route overnight stays, hotels are often outside or on the outskirts of the city to offer good value, often business-style properties. On Christmas market trips, hotels are usually central and within walking distance of the markets. More details and maps for each hotel appear on our website under the specific trip.\rAccording to international practice, hotel rooms are available until 12:00 (noon) on the day of departure (sometimes 10:00), even if your transfer departs in the evening/night or the following morning.\r\rOur Guarantees\rWe are proud to hold the highest possible credit rating, AAA, from Soliditet/Bisnode. We also provide the statutory Swedish travel guarantee (resegaranti) to the Rejsegarantifonden (https://www.rejsegarantifonden.dk/).\r\rFeedback During/After the Trip\rMany of our trips visit countries with different cultures and dining habits—please keep this in mind when choosing a holiday abroad. If something isn’t right during your trip, notify the tour staff on the spot so we can address it immediately. After you return, we appreciate you taking a moment to complete the evaluation form we send you.\r\rItinerary Changes\rChanges to the planned arrangements can occur, including shortly before departure. Examples include delayed flights elsewhere causing schedule changes, a hotel pool requiring urgent repairs, or new nearby construction affecting views. If we learn of a material change, we will notify you in writing or by phone. If the change has a decisive impact on your trip, we will offer an alternative if possible or refund all or part of the price, as applicable.\r\rTour Managers\rWe’re proud of our team of tour managers. They have the freedom to bring their own style to each departure, and their diverse backgrounds and interests create a positive variety for our travelers. You can find out who is scheduled to guide your trip on our website or by calling our office well before departure. Please note that tour-manager assignments are preliminary and may change; this does not affect the quality of the trip.\r\rExcursions\rOn many trips you can pre-book excursions if they’re not already included. Each trip page describes what’s available and how to book. Some excursions or activities require a minimum (or have a maximum) number of participants. Local regulations, weather, or other circumstances may lead to rescheduling.\r\rCustomize Your Trip\rOn many tours you can arrive before the program begins or stay on after it ends. Pre- and post-night hotel options are shown during the booking process on our website.\r\rGroup Size\rWe operate small-group tours. All departures are guaranteed, and typical group size ranges from 2 to 20 travelers, unless stated otherwise.\r","/campaign/Solresor/shutterstock_2265495795_12_wzykq9.jpg","2026-07-10 13:30:17
312,"Personal data","personal-data",null,"Privacy PolicyYour personal dataRolfs Tours collects personal data for a range of purposes, but uses that data only to communicate better with you as a customer and to make the handling of trip bookings easier.
