Weather in Egypt
Egypt has a hot and dry climate with plenty of sunshine most of the year. Along the Red Sea, for example in Hurghada, it is popular to travel during autumn, winter and spring when the days are sunny and the temperature is often pleasant for both swimming and excursions.
In Cairo, Luxor and Aswan, the summer months can be very hot, especially at outdoor attractions. For tours, Nile cruises and visits to temple sites, the period from October to April is often most comfortable.
