After breakfast, we leave Jaipur and continue towards Ranthambore, one of India’s most well-known wildlife destinations. On arrival, we head straight to our hotel Jungle Villas and enjoy lunch together.
The rest of the day is free for you to relax and settle in at your own pace. You may wish to unwind at the hotel and enjoy the peaceful surroundings before the coming day’s wildlife adventure. Ranthambore is famous for its rich flora and fauna and, above all, for being one of the best places in India to spot the majestic Bengal tiger.
Today we experience one of the highlights of the tour: a safari in Ranthambore National Park. Accompanied by a naturalist, we explore the park in a shared open canter bus and keep our eyes open for some of the animals that inhabit this remarkable reserve.
Ranthambore is known not only for its tiger population, but also for its beautiful and varied landscape of rolling hills, lakes, forests and open grassland. Along the way, there may also be opportunities to see leopards, hyenas, jackals, deer and a wide variety of birdlife. The park’s historic ruins and dramatic scenery make the safari experience even more memorable.
Lunch is served at the hotel. For those who would like to explore the park even further, there is also the opportunity to join an additional optional safari in the morning or afternoon. Price from $42.
