Day 1 Delhi – Jaipur

We arrive in Delhi where we will be welcomed at the airport by a meet and greet and continue by bus on the 270-kilometer journey to Jaipur, the capital of Rajasthan — famously known as the Pink City. Along the way, we stop for breakfast, and the sights and sounds already give us the feeling of truly being in India.

Upon arrival in Jaipur, we check in at a comfortable 4-star hotel, where we also enjoy lunch together. The remainder of the day is free to rest or explore the city at your own pace.
We arrive in Delhi where we will be welcomed at the airport by a meet and greet and continue by bus on the 270-kilometer journey to Jaipur, the capital of Rajasthan — famously known as the Pink City. Day 2 Jaipur

Breakfast is served at the hotel before we set out for the Amber Fort, traveling by bus and jeep. This magnificent palace and fortress complex offers a fascinating glimpse into Rajasthan’s royal past, with well-preserved original paintings and breathtaking views over Moata Lake and the surrounding landscape. We then continue with a visit to a local craft cooperative.

At lunchtime, there is an optional opportunity to visit a family of doctors, who share insights into Indian daily life and family traditions. Guests are welcomed with a drink before taking part in an engagingcooking demonstration, where active participation is encouraged. We then enjoy lunch together. The excursion must be pre-booked before departure. Price from $38.

In the afternoon, we discover the highlights of Jaipur on a guided city tour. Among the landmarks are the iconic Hawa Mahal (Palace of the Winds), the astronomical wonder of Jantar Mantar Observatory, and the impressive City Palace, a royal residence that is virtually a city within the city.

Dinner is served at the hotel.

After breakfast, we drive to Ranthambore, passing through a landscape of impressive mountains and charming Indian villages. Upon arrival, we enjoy lunch at our comfortable 4-star hotel.

The afternoon is free to spend as you wish—either relaxing by the pool or taking a stroll in the peaceful surroundings. Ranthambore National Park is one of India’s most famous nature reserves, renowned for its population of wild tigers. Once the private hunting grounds of the Maharajas of Jaipur, it is now a sanctuary for diverse wildlife and natural beauty.

In the late afternoon, tea or coffee is served at the hotel, accompanied by traditional music. Dinner is also included at the hotel.

Day 4 Ranthambore

Early in the morning, we set out on a thrilling safari drive in an open bus through Ranthambore National Park.

Spanning more than 400 square kilometers of forests and grasslands, the park is home to an incredible variety of wildlife. With some luck, we may encounter the majestic tiger. Other inhabitants include sloth bears, leopards, monkeys, jackals, deer, and a rich diversity of bird species. (The morning safari is included in the price of the trip.)

Back at the hotel, lunch, afternoon tea or coffee, and dinner are included.

Once the capital of the Mughal Empire, the city was eventually abandoned due to water shortages, earning it the name of a “ghost city.” Today, it is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and a major attraction, featuring an extensive palace complex, one of India’s largest mosques, and several monumental tombs.

Upon arrival in Agra, we check in at a comfortable 4-star hotel, where we will stay for two nights.

We then continue to the Agra Fort, where Shah Jahan was imprisoned by his own son and is believed to have spent his final days gazing toward the Taj Mahal from one of its towers. Later, we visit skilled artisans who continue the centuries-old craft of creating intricate stone inlays in marble, a tradition famously used in the Taj Mahal itself. Lunch is served back at the hotel, after which the afternoon is free to enjoy at your own pace.

In the evening, there is an optional opportunity to attend the Mohabbat-e-Taj show - a vibrant live performance portraying the love story of Shah Jahan and Mumtaz Mahal, while celebrating India’s rich cultural and historical heritage. This excursion must be booked in advance before departure. Price from $33.

After breakfast, we travel along the modern Yamuna Expressway to Delhi. Upon arrival, we enjoy lunch before visiting the impressive Jama Mosque, the largest and perhaps most magnificent mosque in India.

We then immerse ourselves in the vibrant atmosphere of Old Delhi, exploring its bustling bazaars and lively streets with a cycle rickshaw tour through narrow alleys. Here, colorful stalls overflow with fresh fruits and fragrant spices, creating an unforgettable sensory experience.

Our journey continues by bus past the majestic Red Fort, followed by a visit to Raj Ghat, the memorial to Mahatma Gandhi.

In Delhi, we check in at the comfortable Zone Connect by Park hotel.

With a history spanning more than 3,000 years, Delhi has played a defining role in shaping India’s cultural heritage. During our tour, we also visit a gurdwara, the sacred temple of the Sikh faith, offering a glimpse into its spiritual traditions.

After lunch, we continue to the remarkable Qutab Minar complex, one of India's most captivating UNESCO World Heritage Sites.
